Mingara was appointed the technical adviser for the Government Wireless Network (GWN) project, assisting the Queensland Government in its planning, procurement and implementation phases.

The GWN is based on a P25 digital radio communications platform that delivers secure, interoperable radio communications services to Queensland's public safety agencies and other users.

Mingara’s role included preparation of all technical specifications and associated tender schedule documents in close consultation with the Public Safety Agencies. We subsequently reviewed tender responses and supported the Queensland Government through its contract negotiations.

Through implementation we provided technical advice on all aspects of the delivery of the GWN.
